Cement Truck Driver

Must have a Class A CDL

JOB SUMMARY:
The mixer truck driver is responsible for efficiently driving, loading, transporting and unloading materials from vendor locations to production plants as well as performing general labor as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs daily vehicle safety inspection and visually inspect concrete consistency in mixer
Ability to use water hoses to clean mixer between loads
Must be able to do general labor along with driving
Maintains truck maintenance, fuel and fluid levels as needed
Reports vehicle mechanical problems immediately to fleet maintenance team
Follows instruction from the production manager to determine the quantity or materials needed and location of material to be loaded, transported and unloaded each day
Continuously follow all safety rules and work in safe, efficient manner
Ability to operate heavy plant equipment (loaders, mixer truck, and other equipment)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Class A CDL license
Must have at least 2 years of driving experience
Must have experience in sand, rock and bulk cement hauling.
Must have a clean MVR
